Running at a consistent yield averageĀ over the last five years in our trials, Cassia can handle all conditions. It is easy to grow and supplies a beautiful large grain which delivers a high yield which is favourable to many livestock operations as an animal feed. Cassia is a high yielding true two-row winter feed barley and was introduced in New Zealand as an autumn sown barley which can achieve exceptional results.
- Cassia is an easy care variety with consistent, outstanding grain weights and low screenings.
- A medium/tall height with stiff straw, with reliable yields.
