CK69 is a new milling wheat which combines excellent yields and consistent protein levels to suit many milling end uses. CK69 is an outstanding second year wheat due to its solid disease package, it creates a milling wheat that is a very versatile option.
KEY AGRONOMIC POINTS
CK69 is a medium maturity wheat which has an optimum planting window from mid-March to mid-May. This high yielding wheat when combined with a PGR programme will produce a strong straw to supply high yields.
CK69 has been bred to have a good level of resistance to disease and when combined with a comprehensive fungicide programme will deliver superior grain quality.
To achieve high protein for milling quality, we recommend a Sulphur application during late tillering in the form of SOA, also a nitrogen application just prior to flowering to lift protein levels in the grain is recommended.
From mid-March to late May.
