Carrfields Grain & Seed Group General Manager, Craig Graham and James Bowker, the newly appointed Product Development Manager - Vegetable Seeds, recently spent a week visiting the Winseed Agri operations at their Head Office in Khandwa, India.
For newly appointed James, the visit provided an opportunity to share his knowledge and also assess current development work – he was particularly impressed with the pipeline of products and the work the India team has undertaken.
While on the ground in Khandwa, the team visited local customers to look at where the Winseed product was performing exceptionally well up against the market standards. Craig and James enjoyed the hospitality of these clients and were offered a greater understanding and insights into the Indian market needs.
Spending time with Arpit Desai, General Manager, Winseed Agri India and his team allowed for business growth planning with a focus on expanding the geographical focus of the business, identifying varieties that have strategic fits and improving operational efficiencies.
